In partnership with the Wasatch Group we recently completed this state-of-the-art multi-purpose gym at the Soleil Lofts Apartments in Herriman! The 7,100 square foot gym is finished with our flagship Maple XL athletic surface (complete with a custom 12′ diameter custom logo at center court) and designed for fullcourt basketball, volleyball, and 3 pickleball courts. This is largest underground gym (under a suspended slab) that we have ever seen and it made for a stunning gym!
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nick Rimando of Real Salt Lake! He is widely considered the greatest goalkeeper in MLS history. He holds MLS records for career shutouts, wins, saves, and appearances. Nick is considered a legend throughout Utah and from soccer fans across the country.
Nick lives here in Salt Lake and has 2 kids – Benny Rose (9) & Jett Nicholas (11). They have an amazing backyard and wanted a space where they could play and shoot hoops. We helped work with them to design a custom 15′ x 30′ halfcourt to fit in with their existing pool, tree house, patio, and garage. Nick and his family are huge LA Lakers fans (he grew up in California and went to UCLA) so we went with a gray, purple, and yellow theme. As Jazz fans we tried our best to convince him otherwise 🙂

The Andrew family @hellofashionblog (1 Million followers) @codywestonandrew (250k followers) began building their house a couple of years ago and had plans for an indoor basketball court. They wanted a gym which was durable enough for their 3 kids in addition to a quality & aesthetic for commercial photo shoots. They visited our showroom with her father from Montana who was also in the market for an indoor basketball court. Both Cody/Christine and her father opted for Maple XL for their gyms. They are a great and active family and plan to make many memories in their home gym!
The Salt Lake City based Overstock.com contracted with SnapSports of Utah to design and construct a state-of-the-art gamecourt for their 19 acre corporate campus in Murray, UT. Overstock is an original resident of the “Silicon Slopes” and recently built and moved into their roughly 1,500 employees into this new campus (formerly based in Cottonwood Heights).
When Overstock first came to us with the desire to built a multi-court for their employees the primary questions were location and sizing. After discussing several potential locations we landed on a formerly un-used/un-landscaped portion of the campus near the parking lot. After determining that the main sport to be played would be basketball (tennis/net sports secondary) we designed a 50′ x 84′ full-court with a multi-game net. After finalizing the colors/design we began construction in September 2018. We excavated the space and poured 20″ footings for a 10″ retaining wall on 3 sides of the court.
Once the retaining walls & slab were in place we installed the rest of the fencing and began installing the custom court. The 50′ x 84′ Bounceback Shocktower court has 2 regulation 72″ Duraslam hoops, removable multi-sport net, and 10′ tall chain link. There are also a few court side benches for when you need a breather!

Our team recently worked with a Park City, UT family to convert their 8,000 square foot rodeo training barn to a world class basketball training facility. They were looking for a high end maple playing surface, however it needed to be able to hold up to the elements. Our synthetic maple was the perfect fit.
After clearing out all of the debris we poured a 4″ concrete slab from wall to wall. Our team then installed our Revolution Maple surface in addition to a multi-sport net and 2 commercial grade portable hoops. In total our team was on-site for 4 days.
The family loves the gym and recently had the Park City High School basketball team over for a training session!

SnapSports of Utah recently assisted in the complete renovation of an old West Valley City warehouse to a state of the art athletic facility. We began working with the client in August of 2015 when the space was purchased. As seen in the first photo below the facility included a massive commercial refrigerator and several support beams. The area was cleared and the SnapSports of Utah team began work to transform the space. They opted for our patented Revolution Maple Shocktower surface which is primarily used for basketball and volleyball. The feedback from DCCS Sports has been excellent and the gym is getting use nearly 7 days a week. The SnapSports of Utah team recently partnered with Jeremy Anderson & SnapSports of Southern Idaho to install a halfcourt for Boise State head football coach – Bryan Harsin. We worked through several different court designs with Bryan and his family, they ended up loving the Bright BLUE court to match the Boise State football field. We also painted a Boise State logo which was one of Bryan’s favorite parts of the court. Overall Bryan, his wife Kes, and their children love their new halfcourt!

SnapSports of Utah recently partnered with local non-profit University Neighborhood Partners to build a community basketball court. University Neighborhood Partners “brings together University and west side resources in reciprocal learning, action and benefit”. They primarily work with underprivileged children and provide resources to help them succeed.
The SnapSports of Utah team installed a small half court in their existing parking lot for the kids to enjoy after school. It will provide a safe place for them to play and get some exercise while bonding with their peers.

Here is a indoor residential basketball court renovation that we recently completed in Draper. When we arrived the customer had a basketball hoop and a bare concrete slab. We assisted them in the overall design of the room in terms of flooring, wall carpet, and the team flags. They opted for our Bounceback Maple Shocktower surface in a 3′ x 3′ parquet pattern. Overall this is one of our coolest transformations to date!
